Good project management provides the foundation for creativity to flourish. It is also the key to constructive and effective relationships.

This is how one of our projects will typically progress:

Step 1: The sit down chat

Face to face, we nail down:

• what you want,
• why you want it,
• what it should do, and
• what it should look like.

Step 2: The proposal

We write down everything we have discussed and provide pricing options and any other ideas we think are relevant.

Step 3: Design

We propose to you a design, explaining the thinking behind it. We then take on board your comments and make necessary changes. Occasionally we’ll put together a second design.

Step 4: Content

Content is a crucial part of the process. Sometimes we write the words for you. Sometimes you’ll write them yourself. Either way, we’ll give strategic input.

Step 5: Site Build

Taking the design and as much of the content as we can lay our hands on we start to build the site. We always do custom builds; from the ground up. The site build stage includes building the templates (the bones of a working website page) and integrating them with the content management system.

Step 6: Revisions & Testing

We will provide you with a link to a working version of the site on our development server. While we carry out final tests on the site, we will ask you for comments and last minute revisions (there is usually a bit of to and fro at this stage).

Step 7: Go Live

Once everyone is happy with the site we change the settings on your website address so that it points to the new site. This can sometimes take a few days to switch over.

Step 8: Marketing

Once your site is live, you have a great opportunity to TELL THE WORLD how great your organisation is.
